How to apply
Applications for grants and awards shall be made by completing the form on the RTYF website (www.rtyf.au) prior to the specified closing date. Apply here
If you are applying for a Grant, you are also able to nominate yourself for the Syd Corser Scholarship using the same application form.
Selection Criteria (Individuals and Teams)
Grant applications for Individuals are available to all West Australian Sailors who are current members of an Australian Sailing affiliated club.
An individual/team must have proven performance at a National Level in their area of endeavour and be able to continue and progress towards excellence at an international level.
We encourage you to make sure all information is correct and relevant so RTYF can review of your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Yacht Clubs, Class Associations (And Other Volunteer Organisations)
Grant applications are invited from Yacht Clubs and Class Associations to assist with the provision of essential equipment and skills training programs
Presentation Of Grants
Applicants will be notified by email if they are successful or unsuccessful after the selection process. The Board’s decision will be final, and no further discussion will be entered into.
Grants will be presented at the annual Ron Tough Yachting Foundation Awards Night. A condition of receiving a grant, is that the beneficiary attends the Awards Night to receive the grant in person.
Funds awarded to Grant applicants will be paid via EFT once advice of banking details has been received by the Treasurer and fulfilment of their obligations (as detailed in their application) has been deemed satisfactory.
